My design philosophy: Design should make people feel, make statements, and change lives. The strategy behind the design is as important as the design itself. What you do next matters more than what you did in the past. Admitting flaws elevates integrity.
I received my Bachelors of Fine Art in Graphic Design and a minor in Advertising Management from Portland State University in 2020. I am currently based in Portland, Oregon.
To make great things happen it takes a team. I spent a year working with fellow students in the Portland State School of Business agency internship FIR NW. We worked collaboratively in FIR using research and strategy to guide insight. Our creative briefs, concepting process, and media strategy provided solutions to our real world clients’ problems.
I have lived many lives before deciding I wanted a career in the creative communications industry. But every job and experience I’ve had has lead to my design style and thinking. My background includes work as a visual merchandiser, bike mechanic, photographer, cocktail waitress, mountain biker, trail builder, coffee roaster, and hot air balloon chaser. My road to the present has been filled with magic, hardships, learning, experimentation, excitement, adventure, broken bones, blood, sweat and tears, and near death.
